Ed Robb has been a member of the Firm since 1970. His practice concentrates in the areas of Admiralty, General Casualty, and Transportation Law. He regularly represents cargo insurers in a variety of recovery actions filed in Savannah, Atlanta and in other U.S. District Courts throughout the East Coast. He has also regularly represented marine terminals, stevedores and their insurers in a variety of litigated matters, including personal injury, property damage and in toxic tort litigation. He defends towing and dredging companies in Jones Act cases and in other litigation. Most recently, he has represented a towing company and its insurers in a major bridge allision case.

Mr. Robb is a 1963 graduate of Dartmouth College. At Dartmouth, he was a member of Dragon Senior Society and the Varsity Lacrosse Team. He received his J.D. from the University of Georgia Law School in 1970 and was a member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review. He is the published author of the note, Dockside Injuries Under the Longshoremen's & Harbor Worker's Compensation Act, 3 Georgia Law Review 622 (1969).

Mr. Robb served as an officer in the United States Navy from 1963-1973. He served a vessel in the Pacific Fleet in preparation for operations in Vietnam.  Subsequently, he served on vessels in the Atlantic Fleet while on active duty and while in the active Reserves. He attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He is a director of the Navy League of the United States, Savannah Council, and is a member of the Military Order of World Wars. Mr. Robb coached Youth Soccer for sixteen years and was a Board Member of the Coastal Georgia Soccer Association.

Mr. Robb is a member of the Maritime Law Association of the U.S., and is active in the Stevedores, Marine Terminals and Vessel Services Committee. He is also a member of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute and has presented papers and has lectured at various Admiralty Seminars. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America (Admiralty) and Georgia Super Lawyers (Admiralty/Transportation).

Having completed the Henning Mediation and Arbitration Services, Inc. Mediation Course, Mr. Robb has served as a Mediator in a number of Maritime cases.
