Overview
James “Logan” Lineberry is an Associate in Bouhan Falligant’s litigation group, focusing his practice primarily in corporate defense, transportation and logistics, education law, medical malpractice and product liability. Logan joined Bouhan Falligant in the fall of 2020 after graduating from Emory University School of Law with honors.
At Emory Law, Logan was a Managing Editor of Emory Law Journal, a member of the Emory Environmental Law Society, and a Top 10% Oralist for the Spring 2018 Oral Arguments. Outside of the classroom, Logan served as a Summer Associate for Bouhan Falligant, a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Eric Dunaway with the Superior Court of Fulton County, a Student Attorney for Turner Environmental Law Clinic, and a Law Clerk for the Virginia Tech Foundation’s Office of General Counsel and Real Estate.
Logan received a Bachelor of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, in Political Science with a concentration in Legal Studies from Virginia Tech in 2017. At Virginia Tech, Logan was a member of the Honors College, graduating as an Honors Scholar in the top 3% of his major, and elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Interested in the intersection of federal policy decisions and Appalachia, Logan completed two summer research internships with the Multicultural Academic Opportunities Program studying renewable energy and early childhood education.
Away from the office, Logan is a devout Virginia Tech fan and loves to spend time with his beloved Cavanese, Bubba.
