Bouhan Falligant Attorney Rob Brannen Appointed to the Board of Habitat for Humanity of Georgia
SAVANNAH, GA, November 15, 2013 – Robert Brannen, partner at Bouhan Falligant LLP with expertise in real estate law, was appointed to the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Georgia.

Habitat for Humanity of Georgia serves the entire state supporting 79 Georgia-based Habitat for Humanity affiliates. Additionally, the organization fulfills the role as an advocate and liaison to Habitat for Humanity International’s central headquarters staff in Atlanta.
Brannen is recognized at a local and state level in the area of real estate law. He is Chair-elect of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Law Section and served as Chairman of the Ethics Committee for many years. He is chairman of the 2014 Real Property Law Institute that will be held in Savannah, Georgia.
A significant amount of Brannen’s work involves the acquisition and development of property for commercial and residential development, including entitlements, infrastructure, restrictive covenants and easements, financing, sales and leasing of properties, and association management. In recent years, he has spent a lot of his time assisting lenders and developers with troubled assets. Brannen has worked extensively with national title insurance companies to insure complex commercial properties, and handled commercial loan transactions for lenders and borrowers. He also performs home closings and maintains a residential real estate staff trained to handle the closing needs of builders, lenders and consumers.
