Overview
Jacob E. Saas is an associate attorney with Bouhan Falligant LLP’s litigation group, focusing his practice primarily in the areas of medical practice, professional liability, and transportation and logistics. He also has experience litigating matters involving construction defects, premises liability, insurance defense, and representation of governmental entities. Jake is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice in Georgia State and Superior courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for all three federal districts in Georgia. He is also a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association and Savannah Bar Association and serves on the executive board of the Savannah Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.
Jake earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served as the Senior Online Editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. Prior to attending law school, Jake graduated from Miami University with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Business and History. Originally from East Tennessee, he was active in Boy Scouts, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in 2008.
Outside of the practice of law, Jake serves on the executive board for the Coastal Empire Disaster Recovery Committee (CEDRC), which coordinates with local organizations to assist in preparation for, and recovery from, disasters that impact the Coastal Empire, and he is a member of the United Way Young Leaders of the Coastal Empire.
