Condominium & Homeowner Association Representation

  1. Overview

Bouhan Falligant’s real estate development, corporate, collection and litigation lawyers form a strong team to represent condominium and homeowners associations.

We understand the financial constraints on most associations and will work with the association to determine an appropriate budget for legal services. The firm offers fixed price services for routine matters such as sending collection letters and filing association liens.

The firm has expertise in the drafting and modification of documents for the governance of associations and membership clubs and frequently consults with the boards of associations on the proper interpretation and implementation of their governing documents. We also offer presentations for boards of directors on the duties and responsibilities required by their governing documents and applicable state law.

If an association becomes involved in litigation, the firm offers an extensive litigation department with expertise on a wide variety of issues, including the collection of accounts and bankruptcy.
