Bouhan Falligant LLP Selects Shayna Bowen As New Managing Partner
SAVANNAH, GA – The partners of Bouhan Falligant LLP have elected Shayna A. Bowen as the firm’s next managing partner. Bowen has been with the firm since 2019 and served on its management committee since 2024.
As managing partner, Bowen will oversee the firm’s day-to-day operations, talent strategy, and execution of the firm’s strategic plan.
Bowen succeeds Melanie L. Marks, who has served as managing partner since 2019. The firm offers its sincere gratitude to Marks for her exemplary leadership. Under her guidance, Bouhan Falligant achieved significant milestones and continued its reputation for excellence.

Shay Bowen is a corporate and transactional attorney with deep experience helping organizations navigate corporate, regulatory, and operational issues. She supports clients across industries with formation and governance matters, strategic transactions, and the full spectrum of ongoing business needs. She enjoys serving as a strategic partner to clients, developing creative approaches to complex challenges, and helping organizations move through periods of change with confidence and clarity. A core focus of her practice is representing healthcare providers. In her healthcare work, she routinely assists clients with practice acquisitions and sales, governance matters, employment and professional services arrangements, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day operational issues. She delivers solutions that balance legal risk with the practical realities of running a healthcare business in a highly regulated environment.
Shay received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Washington and Lee University and her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she completed a Certificate of Advanced Study in Health Law.
