Savannah-based law firm Bouhan Falligant presented Live Oak Public Libraries with a check for $5,000 to benefit this year’s Savannah Children’s Book Festival at their board meeting on Tuesday.

The Savannah Children’s Book Festival will take place on Saturday, November 16, in Forsyth Park. Organized by the Live Oak Public Libraries, this event has grown over the last few years to become the leading children’s book festival in the nation welcoming well over 40,000 visitors. The event is largely made possible by support from the City of Savannah and Gulfstream, together with Live Oak Public Libraries Foundation and Bouhan Falligant.

The donation was presented to the Board of Directors of the Live Oak Public Libraries’ Foundation by Bouhan Falligant attorney Susannah Rogers Pedigo during a regularly scheduled board session.

“Bouhan Falligant is proud to be a community partner with Live Oak Public Libraries on the Savannah Children’s Book Festival this year,” Bouhan Falligant attorney Susannah Rogers Pedigo said. “We care about the community in which we work and live. And as a mother of young children, I personally appreciate the impact of this festival. Live Oak Public Libraries has provided outstanding opportunities to thousands of children bringing together successful and committed children’s book authors that inspire today’s youth and providing excellent resources and tools to nurture the curiosity of children.”
